Activities

Below you can see the full range of services and technologies we offer

Digital audit

It involves selecting the optimal tools and their settings, eliminating errors at a later stage and ensuring the highest standard of work throughout the digitisation process.

3D laser scanning

By scanning the architecture of the entire building - for digitisation and inventory purposes - it is possible to acquire detailed information about the shapes, colours and sizes of the historic architecture.

Learn more →

3D optical scanning

Ultra-precise scanning of movable historical artefacts (including sculpture and crafts) using handheld and stationary optical white and blue structured light scanners.

Learn more →

Photography and video

We use HDR digital photography and film (including drone) to showcase the architectural monument inside and outside, as well as all movable historical artefacts.

Learn more →

Gigapanoramas

360° spherical images at a resolution of more than 1 billion pixels in HDR, displaying an image with a high tonal range, showing detail in both very bright and dark areas.

Learn more →

Gigapixels

Images with a resolution of more than 1 billion pixels, depicting a large historic object (e.g. façade, altarpiece, stained glass window, polychrome, etc.), even when the object is heigh above the ground.

Learn more →

Documentation

It encompasses the entire process of preparing descriptions for the monuments that will be made public, preceded by a painstaking verification of the existing inventory cards, only some of which contain correct data.

Learn more →

2D CAD plans and projections

From the generated 3D models of historic buildings, we can create basic and derived projections with different projection directions and model representation.

Learn more →

3D CAD model

A 3D CAD model is created through the process of using software to create a mathematical representation of a 3D architectural object, in order to render interiors and exteriors in the buildings and environments on offer.

The virtual model in HBIM

The innovation of this inventory method lies in the fact that it enables the direct creation of elements of a virtual architectural monument, in which, in addition to the 3D model and standard 2D projections, additional information (e.g. assignment of technical or conservation details) is included in historical terms.

Data processing

The monuments of architecture, painting, sculpture and craftsmanship, digitised using a variety of tools, are subjected to a painstaking process of data processing, the final product of which will be multimedia ready for dissemination.

Learn more →

Reverse engineering

Reverse engineering is the process of finding out how the object under study works and/or was made, so as to create a physical equivalent.

Learn more →

Virtual reality

We are using virtual reality in a multimedia presentation system for the dissemination of digitised cultural heritage resources.

Learn more →

3D printing

3D printing is an excellent solution for educating, disseminating and encouraging more knowledge about historical objects.

Tools used

3D laser scanners

We use them to obtain information about the shapes, colours and sizes of historic architecture. Thanks to their fantastic speed (up to 1 million measurements per second), high measurement precision (error within 1-2 mm) and specialised software, we can combine an unlimited number of scans, ultimately obtaining a point cloud, which is an accurate digital copy of the monument.

3D optical scanners

The business of preserving and disseminating cultural heritage in the area of monuments presents us with a number of challenges in creating 3D models of monuments and artefacts of history. Wanting to set the standard for digitisation in this area, we have been successfully using first-class equipment and solutions for several years.

Learn more →

Digital cameras

Depending on the effect we want to achieve, we use medium and large format digital cameras with resolutions of 50 - 400 Mpix for inventory documentation, films and timelapses in the 4K-8K range, HDR spherical gigapanoramas, gigapixel photographic documentation and gigapixel reproduction.

Learn more →

Specialist cameras

We use the latest innovative solutions in the field of 3D macro photography, such as the Hirox HRX-01 digital microscope with a high-resolution motorized lens, to digitize flat historical objects (textiles, paintings, etc.) at resolutions reaching hundreds of billions of pixels.

Learn more →

3D printers

The drastic fall in the price of 3D printers and miniaturisation, combined with their simplicity of use, have contributed to a boom in the consumer market.

Learn more →

Specialised software

Lorem ipsum dolor sit, amet consectetur adipisicing elit. Deleniti neque magnam facere eligendi voluptatum officia.

Learn more →

Unity engine

It is a tool for creating three-dimensional and two-dimensional computer games or other interactive materials such as visualisations or animations.

Learn more →

Drones

We use them in several ways. For example, we use industrial drones for low-altitude photogrammetry - creating precise, three-dimensional maps of urban layouts in which the architectural monuments we digitise are embedded.
