Stargard Collegiate Church

The Pearl of the West Pomeranian Gothic

The task is to faithfully reproduce the architecture of the Monument of History – the Collegiate Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of the World in Stargard and the movable monuments it contains (painting, sculpture, arts and crafts, blacksmithing, etc.), through two- and three-dimensional digitisation.

It is a monumental church building with the full spatial programme of a Hanseatic city parish, modelled on St. Mary’s Church in Lubeck and the Gothic cathedrals.

The scope of work will include the entire church and the valuable works of art within it. State-of-the-art measurement and visualisation technologies and web technologies (multilingual, responsive website) will be used to ensure interactivity for all types of audiences, with a particular focus on the excluded (WCAG 2.1 standard). The main objective of the project is to develop and digitise cultural heritage resources and to make digital resources available and re-usable.
