Reliquary of the Hand of St. Bartholomew

Reliquary in the shape of a forearm covered by a pleated sleeve. On it, a rectangular vertical glazed window showing the relics.

A narrower inner sleeve decorated with an engraved pomegranate motif. In the hand, a tanner’s knife with a curved blade. Octagonal plinth on four spherical feet. The reliquary was created as a joint foundation of the chapter of the Collegiate Church of the Holy Cross in Wrocław.

Inscription: On the front of the plinth, an inscription: BRACHIVM S BARTHOLOMEI M D XIIII.
