The figure of the Madonna, standing on a crescent moon and surrounded by an oval of rays, holds the Child Jesus in her left arm and a scepter in her right hand. On Mary’s head is a crown adorned with stones and colorful enamel.
The base is hexagonal and tiered. On the front wall, there is an oval glazed window through which a red fabric and a strip of paper with the inscription “Dens S. Lucie” can be seen. On the side walls, there are repoussé depictions of St. Hedwig and St. John the Evangelist, as well as an inscription:
“BALTHASAR NEANDER DE OTMVCHOVIA S. T. D. ARCHIDIACONUS WRATISLAVIESIS DONVM HOC ECCLESIAE WRATISLAVIESIAN. MDCXVI DIE XVIII SEPTEMBRIS HILARITER OBTVLIT.”
On one of the walls, there is a coat of arms with a jewel belonging to the founder of the reliquary, Archdeacon and Canon Balthasar Neander.
