Reliquary of St. James Strepa

The reliquary is in the form of a small coffin with concave-convex sides, featuring a profile bust of the saint on the front, with figurines of angels on the corners. On the lid, there are archbishop’s insignia, floral ornaments, rocaille, and a regency grid.

Jakub Strzemię (real name Jakub Strepa, coat of arms Strzemię; born c. 1340, died October 20, 1409) was the Archbishop of Halicz from 1391, a Franciscan, and a blessed of the Catholic Church.
