Red festive chasuble with the motif of the flame of the Holy Spirit

Roman style chasuble (fiddleback), with rounded bottom edges. Triangular neck opening. Edges trimmed with gold-colored galloon. Front and back feature applied gold-colored galloons: four sections on each side. The central column on the front is decorated with the flame of the Holy Spirit motif repeated 15 times (in 6 rows, alternating 2 and 3 motifs), executed in gold laid work embroidery. The column on the back is adorned with an analogous motif repeated 12 times in 5 rows; at the bottom is the embroidered episcopal coat of arms of Balthasar Liesch von Hornau (shield with three reed maces, surmounted by a bishop’s mitre, stole, and a crossed crosier and cross). Lining of light red satin.
