Gift for Cardinal Bolesław Kominek (1903–1974). Chalice on a circular foot transitioning into a tapering, funnel-shaped stem. The foot bears two shields: one with the image of St. Stanislaus Bishop and the Polish Eagle, the other with the coat of arms of Kraków. Box-shaped knop with chamfered edges. Hemispherical bowl. Red corals in circular settings surround the foot, knop, and bowl.
Inscription: Engraved around the edge of the foot: Kardynałowi Bolesławowi Kominkowi, Arcybiskupowi Metropolicie Wrocławskiemu ofiaruje Kraków 13 maja 1973 (“Kraków offers this to Cardinal Bolesław Kominek, Archbishop Metropolitan of Wrocław, 13 May 1973”).

What is a gigapixel?
Gigapixel HDR photography - images with a resolution of more than 1 billion pixels, allowing us to image a large historic object. The end result is that we can view the object in its entirety, while being able to zoom in and view any detail of the photographed object, 'like under a magnifying glass', without losing focus of the detail being viewed.

What is a gigapanorama?
HDR spherical gigapanorama - panoramic images covering a full 360° view horizontally and 180° vertically at a resolution of more than 1 billion pixels, allowing a high tonal range image to be displayed, showing detail in both very bright and dark areas.
