Officer’s cap of the 1st Polish Light Cavalry Regiment of the Imperial Guard, first pattern, 1807
Top made of crimson cloth, with silver galloons on the edges and the top panel (denko); on the left section, a round tricolor cockade with a Cavalier Cross covering the plume socket; headband made of black lacquered leather, silver galloon at the junction with the top; silvered plate on the front with embossed rays and a Napoleonic eagle; visor made of leather as above, edged with metal plate as above; chin strap and cord attachments made of the same plate; silver cords, braided; missing chin strap and plume.
