Blind Rose Window

The rose window is a composition of ceramic fittings, set against the background of a large plastered blind niche. It consists of an eight-pointed star surrounded by sixteen small six-lobed rosettes. The center of the composition features a ring – circular on the inside, octagonal on the outside, from which radially arranged columns extend, building the arms of the star between which triple trefoil arches are spread. The six-lobed rosettes are placed along the axis of the columns and the tips of the large star’s arms. The entire composition is framed by a brick border.
