Bell

In the mid-19th century, during the renovation of the tower, the old bells were removed, and their fate is unknown. In the rebuilt tower, two new bells in the Neo-Renaissance style were hung. One of them is still here.

It was shaped and cast in 1848 in Szczecin by the bell founder C.F. Voss, who left his signature and date on the bell’s body. The bell, standing 110 cm high and 130 cm in diameter, features rich floral ornamentation, with a wide band of dense leaves on the neck where silhouettes of birds are placed, and above the wreath is a trail of palmettes. The German inscription on the body is a quote from the Book of Psalms.
